When you make an international call, please dial international access number + Country code + Area code ＋the number (omit the initial “0” in the area code).


[e.q.] When making a phone call to the number (area code: 212) 123-4567 in New York, USA

1. Dial 010 (other number, if using a discount international calling service)

2. Dial 1, which is USA country code

3. Dial 212 (area code)

4. Then dial the number 123-4567

■Prepaid international calling card

Prepaid card offers substantial savings for not only domestic calls within Japan but also international calls from Japan to other countries. It comes in three types based on the price: 1,000 yen, 3,000 yen and 5,000 yen, neither registration nor application is necessary. The card can be purchased at stations, department stores, hotels and convenience stores.
