Nagahama, Maizuru, Oyafuko-dori(Chuo-ku)
Summary
The motorboat racing stadium owned by Fukuoka city and the motorboat race enterprise association. The stadium, located near Tenjin (10 minutes walk), has been well known as a representative city-based motorboat racing stadium in Fukuoka for more than a half century since 1953. From the stand, you can command a scenic view of urban expressway, Yahoo dome and the surrounding buildings. The first corner area sticks out into the mouth of Naka River and this is a very unique boat racing facility. The water surface is continuous with the sea and creates a strong heave just before the full tide. The inlet length of 180 meters is the shortest in the country. The stadium also has other unique features. The central stand built in 2003 is a bright and open space that alters the typical image of this type of facility. Cafe and restaurants are also available in the stadium. With the membership, you can get information service by phone and fax and you can vote online.
