Summary
The boat tour of Yanagawa started in 1961. Well-known ”Donko-bune” boat takes a slow trip through the ditches of the town. Shogetsu Josenjo (The boat landing spot) is a place associated with a famous poem "Omoide(remembrance)" written by Kitahara Hakushu. A nostalgic feel of the past still looms around the town.
