Shintencho is an old shopping mall, which started in 1946. While it is located in Tenjin, the no.1 trend setter of Kyushu, it still retains a nostalgic feel and so loved by many local residents. The widely known festival, Hakata Dontaku and other cultures of Tenjin were also born here in this mall. The contribution it has made to the development of Fukuoka is never ignorable.
