Around Fukuoka Airport, Hakata no Mori(Hakata-ku)
Summary
No other airport in Japan is so close to the central part of the city as Fukuoka Airport. The subway line is connected to the airport and provides 10 minutes access to the airport from Tenjin and 5 minutes from Hakata station. This main air-gate of Kyushu boasts the ridership of 20 million people a year with domestic 24 lines and international 18 lines. Inside the airport building are various shops of local specialties and souvenirs. Rental mobile phones and wireless LAN internet connection service are also available. Observation deck for both domestic and international line is admission free.
