Summary

This temple is said to have once been located in Koyasan mountain. The Buddhist statue of the temple, 41 meters in length and 11 meters in height, is said to be the biggest bronze statue in the world and is well worth seeing.

Access By JR train: Take JR Fukuhoku Yutaka line from Hakata station and get off at Kido Nanzoin-ekimae station(3min. walk). It takes approx. 35min. from Hakata station.
By bus: Take Nishitetsu bus from the platform No.1 of Tenjin bus center; take no. 31 or Yagiyama-Kyuko(express)(approx. 45min.) and get off at Kido stop (1min. walk).
