This is one of the facilities of the international convention zone in Chikko-honmachi area. It is a large scale multi-purpose hall with a seating capacity of over 1 million people with both regular and temporary seats. Numerous sports events have been held here; for instance, it was used for Fukuoka International Women’s Judo Championship in 2007. The Kyushu tournaments of Ozumo (Grand Sumo) also will be held here.
