This restaurant has been in business since 1927. The restaurant is housed in a building of traditional style structure surrounded by the walls of wooden boards carved from chestnut trees. Besides Kaiseki dishes (Japanese traditional haute cuisine), their main feature, they serve various dishes coocked with local ingredients of Hakata including Fugu (blowfish) and Ara (local sea bass). They have various local sakes and wines as well. Feel free to ask about dishes to suit your budget. Reservation is needed.
