The product image of the confection, Hakata Kenjo is based on Hakata-ori (folk textile). The production method of mixing original sugar and special syrup is very particular and the locals love the flavor of this symbolic confection of Hakata. It is sold at the following branches; Amiba-cho honten branch, Kayu-an of Fukuoka Mitsukoshi department, Hakata Ming branch, Hakatamachiya Folk Museum shop (Kushida shrine).
