A heated battle to secure berths for Japan's national athletes!
Cross country is a real battle on the field with runners and athletes of all genres competing and it is among the toughest athletic sports. FUKUOKA INTERNATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY is a top level competition in Japan held every year in early-March in Uminonakamichi Seaside Park. Top athletes gather here and compete for the berths to the world championship. Uminonakamichi Citizen Cross Country is also held on the same day with a large entry of junior high & high school students and ordinary citizens.
