Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, Hakozaki, Other area of Higashi-ku
Summary
It is an extensive leisure park with seasonal flowers. Festivals are held in each season, including Flower Picnic (spring), Rose Festival (early summer and autumn), Cosmos Festival (autumn), and come summer opens the Sunshine Pool, the largest resort pool complex in western Japan. You can visit this urban resort park empty-handed and enjoy day camping with a rental barbecue outfits or spend some time at Marine World, the aquarium with 350 kinds of fishes and ocean view resort hotel The Luiganz.
Inside the site is also an amusement park Wonder World with 23 kinds of attractions including Sky Fantasy the Ferris wheel, a roller coaster and go-carts.
The Sunshine Pool
This largest leisure pool complex in the western Japan is open from the middle of July to the end of August (the period can be extended depending on the year) and 6 pools with features such as water circulation will never make kids or even grown-ups bored. You can take a rest in a tree shade or roofed shelter after a good swim. There are also many food shops.
