The ‘Green’ is a city loop bus that tours around major sightseeing spots in Fukuoka City. It connects 14 bus stops adjacent to major sightseeing spots including Tenjin, Canal City, shrine and temple areas of Hakata, Seaside Momochi area and Ohori Park. Departing from JR Hakata station, the Green goes around the city via 14 bus stops adjacent to major sightseeing spots. With this city loop bus, you can casually enjoy your sightseeing tour even on your first visit to Fukuoka.

The bus stops of Green

The Green connects 14 special bus stops that are adjacent to major sightseeing spots of Fukuoka/Hakata. Click the stop name to see the timetable and information of each bus stop.

Time tables

From Hakata-eki Kotsu Center which is adjacent to JR Hakata Station, the Green departs every 20 minutes on weekends and national holidays, every 30 minutes on weekdays! The first bus of the day departs at 9:00. The last bus departs at 16:40 on weekends and national holidays, and at 16:30 on weekdays.

Fare

The Green Pass is a very convenient one-day pass. With this pass, you can get on and off the bus at any of the 14 stops. You can also get special offers at some city related facilities on the presentation of the pass. You can purchase the Green Pass at Hakata-eki Kotsu Center, Tenjin Bus Center, JR Hakata Station or at the tourist information in Mitsukoshi Lion Square. You can also purchase it from the driver when you get on the Green.

■One-time Boarding Pass: adult 250 yen / children 130 yen (cash only)

The Green is designed by Eiji Mito’oka, one of the most famous industrial designers in Japan and the design concept of the bus is that even first-time visitors to Fukuoka can easily notice this loop bus and casually enjoy the tour ride.
